We are a non-profit dedicated to helping veterans. Salute the Troops provides much needed financial, emotional, and professional resources to service members, veterans, and their families in the Fond du Lac, Sheboygan, and Dodge County areas.  All donations stay local and go directly toward local military families and the programs that serve them.

 

We provide help to service members and veterans through:

Gas and Grocery Cards: Salute the Troops offers gas and grocery cards up to $250 to local veterans in need within the FDL community

Veterans Thrive Garden: Every year Salute the Troops plants a huge public garden on the corner of 1st St and Marr St across from the old St. Peters Church in Downtown Fond du Lac. The garden is available to anyone in the community that wants/needs fresh vegetables.

Professional Resources: We host a small business incubator program for veterans with an entrepreneurial spirit multiple times a year that we call the "Vetreprenuer Project". The program gives veterans a fresh look on how to run a successful business in today's markets and creates investor opportunities for those that complete the program.

 

We offer a professional working space at little to no cost to veterans that includes computer and Wi-Fi access, printing, scanning and copying, and use of our conference room. 

 

We offer each veteran a network of business consultants, tax professionals, marketing agencies, and professional development coaches.

Event Sponsorships: Salute the Troops provides funding and volunteers for events that support veterans and honor our military in the Fond du Lac area throughout the year.
