Salute the Troops provides much-needed financial, emotional, and professional resources to service-members and their families in the Fond du Lac, Dodge and Sheboygan County areas. MAKING ENDS MEET
We were proud to help a young veteran-couple stay in their home as they struggled to make ends meet. They were dealing with the emotional and financial stress of treatment for stage 4-5 lung cancer. Salute the Troops was able to put community donations to good use to help this couple pay their bills so they could focus on healing and hope.
GRANT DONATION FOR HOMELESS VETERANS
Salute the Troops passed $2500 in grant money to the Fond du Lac Solutions Center. The money will be used specifically to help homeless veterans in the local area.
STAYING WARM
A local WWII veteran was without heat. The quote he received for repair of his furnace left him despaired, wondering how he could get it fixed. Salute the Troops coordinated help from a local HVAC company and quickly raised $1300 to replace the unit. Our community came together in a way that truly warms the heart.

Since our founding in 2011, Salute the Troops has had an immediate impact in the Fond du Lac community and beyond.
We have provided financial help to over 100 area veterans, helping them with things like rental assistance, utility assistance, food assistance, transportation, and funeral expenses.
