Salute the Troops received $8,500 donation from Oshkosh Corporation, including $7,500 donation from the Oshkosh Defense project team who placed 1st in the Oshkosh Corporation and 2nd place in the international competition, Excellence Awards in Innovative Excellence category. Team leader, Melissa Casper, heard of Salute the Troops, and working in the defense area, felt it was a nice match between her organization and Salute the Troops. Additionally, Melissa is from Lomira and learned of the Warrior House, a transitional living facility for male veterans.
